THE INVISIBLE “NO ENTRY”

Had a bite of forbidden fantasy,
Not sure if it’s candy or strawberry,
But it tasted dreamy, yet, blurry.

There’s no solution to the confusion,
Like a story without an end,
You were all that was on my mind,
Float in the lost hour glass sand.
Trapped like the book you never read,
Forgotten beneath your homely bed,
Hidden in the dark remain a secret,
Broken and unattended.

If I could have pages to flip back through,
I would go to the unintended night when I first held you,
It was dark but see-through,
Our kiss answered all the question that was long overdue.
Despite silence in the hue,
I could hear your heartbeat said you want this too,
I will never regret you,
Even if second best is all that I am to you.
